CaroTrans’s New Cargo Service Links India and Charleston

Global NVOCC and ocean freight consolidator CaroTrans, is offering a new, direct LCL (less-than container load) import service from Nhava Sheva, India to Charleston, South Carolina, for expedited delivery to the U.S. South Atlantic and Gulf regions.  

The weekly, all-water service has a 25 day transit and offers a convenient Friday cut-off date, “important service features for time-sensitive garment and fabric imports,” the company said.

At origin, CaroTrans’ partner, Globelink WW India, will provide consolidation service and “full India market penetration” with 15-plus inland container depots.

“We continue to add new, direct ocean services to our network to provide our customers with efficient and reliable transportation options that best suit their customers’ supply chain needs,” said CaroTrans CEO Greg Howard.

Additional CaroTrans-Globelink WW direct India import services include: Chennai to Los Angeles and New York, and Nhava Sheva to Los Angeles and New York.
