WATCH: Donald Trump, the Wind-Energy Skeptic
In his speech focusing on agriculture in Iowa on Wednesday, President Donald Trump heaped ridicule on wind energy, despite the fact that renewable energy makes up a significant portion of the energy portfolio in that state. Days earlier, Energy Secretary Rick Perry delivered a remarkably different message to Congress, telling legislators the United States will pursue an all-of-the-above approach to energy production.
Among other things, Trump told an enthusiastic audience: “I don’t want to just hope the wind blows to light up your house and your factory.”
