Intermarine, LLC, a provider of project, breakbulk, and heavy lift ocean transportation and marine logistics services, has opened an office in Quito, Ecuador. The new office will operate in partnership with Intermarine’s agent Tradinter as part of the company’s Americas division.

The Quito office is positioned to service clients in northern Ecuador, including the provinces of Pichincha, Esmeraldas, Imbabura, Carchi and Santo Domingo. The location was established to align the service requirements and objectives of Intermarine’s West Coast South America (WCSA) service to those of the customers, resulting in better and quicker assistance, pricing and service.

“Our business has and always will be customer and cargo-centric,” said Juan Ignacio Lopez, manager of WCSA service.  “We will continue to listen to our clients and operate our business based on their needs. By establishing this office we are providing our clients with a local, bilingual representative, dedicated to serving their needs.”

The office will be led by sales manager Jenny Parreno. Her knowledge of customs procedures, shipping processes documentation and her experience in sales for the logistics sector, constitutes a firm support to ensure quality customer service provided by our new offices. She will work to facilitate the increased efficiency of on-time information, provide quicker reaction times and deliver cost savings to clients.
