Teaming up on FSMA compliance solution
Globe Tracker, a leader in internet-of-things (IoT) tracking and monitoring solutions for logistics assets, and Iron Apple, a leader in Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) compliance, have teamed up to create a FSMA compliance turnkey solution. The solution combines Globe Tracker’s temperature monitoring and advanced sensing with Iron Apple’s e-compliance platform. Ideal for motor and intermodal carriers, the solution allows carriers to save money and grow their business while guaranteeing FSMA compliance.
“By teaming with Iron Apple, we are able to offer motor and intermodal carriers a technology edge at a very competitive price,” said Don Miller, sales head for Globe Tracker. “This risk-mitigating solution, is a true game changer.”
Iron Apple’s FSMA load reports will pull live data from Globe Tracker sensors and compile and store it for a minimum of 12 months. This solution, together with Iron Apple’s Driver Training Certification for FSMA, ensures a one-stop shop for motor and intermodal carriers to gain and retain FSMA compliance.
“We are excited to utilize Globe Tracker’s temperature monitoring to add another verification to our FSMA reports, providing full visibility for a broker/shipper insurance claim or an FDA inspection,” said Geoff Sanford, Operations Manager at Iron Apple.
Iron Apple, headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, developed the e-compliance and e-classroom platforms to become a leader in FSMA Compliance.
