CSafe Global has opened a new service center serving Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) inbound and outbound traffic.

The newest location is the second opening of what will be seven new service centers in 2016 and comes, according to a company statement, “to provide timely service, support, and container availability to its growing global biopharmaceutical customers.”

CSafe Global offers a full range of active and passive packaging solutions for the safe transport of temperature-sensitive products.

“The new facility in Atlanta will strengthen the customer service in this key market,” says Brian Kohr, CSafe’s president and CEO. “In addition to servicing our existing customer base, the new service center will position us to take advantage of the business growth from the enhanced cargo facilities that are part of the huge capital improvement program now underway at Hartsfield–Jackson.”

The new service center will act as a principle hub for delivery, maintenance, calibration, and technical support. The ATL service center will mean that delivery times will be reduced, delivery charges will be minimized, and there will be no ATL drop fees for final destination containers.

“Atlanta has a rapidly growing life-science sector, is the world’s busiest airport and is a premier pharma-logistics hub,” said Mark Mohr, director of customer support and partner management at CSafe Global. “Our new Atlanta service center will provide a strategic platform for our future growth and play an important role in supporting our expanding client base in this important pharma gateway.”

CSafe Global manufactures AcuTemp brand passive packaging and hand-held mobile carriers, the CSafe brand of active containers, and is the exclusive manufacturer and provider of ThermoCor vacuum insulation. The active solution product assortment includes CSafe RKN, which utilizes heating and compressor-driven cooling technology to eliminate the risks associated with extreme ambient conditions as well as the cost and environmental challenges associated with dry ice transportation. AcuTemp is a reusable temperature management system with multiple sizes, temperature ranges and durations designed to protect vital shipments during last-mile delivery. The passive packaging includes solutions for 35.6° F to 46.4° F and frozen shipments with temperature hold times up to 240 hours.
