The Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) held public hearings June 27 to 29 on the upcoming negotiations of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

The public hearings follow USTR’s 90-day notification to Congress on May 18, 2017 regarding intent to renegotiate NAFTA as well as USTR’s Federal Register notice published May 23, 2017 requesting public comment.

The fourth panel included comments from representatives of the American Farm Bureau Federation, the National Association of Wheat Growers, the North American Grain Export Association, US Wheat Associates, the Maryland Grain Producers Utilization Board, the US Grains Council, the National Corn Growers Association, and Cargill.
