  • UPS Worldwide Express package service is now available in 88 countries and territories.
  • Countries where UPS Worldwide Express package service is available include Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam.
  • New service is part of UPS Express, which reaches 220 countries by the end of the next business day.

UPS has expanded its UPS Worldwide Express package service to 23 additional countries and territories, creating an earlier guaranteed-delivery option for customers in locations that previously had only end-of-day guarantees.

UPS Worldwide Express service offers guaranteed delivery on the next possible business day by 10:30 a.m., noon, or 2 p.m. depending on the destination. This move follows last year’s expansion of the service.

The expansion of UPS Worldwide Express service will give customers, especially those with time-sensitive shipments, the guaranteed time-of-day deliveries they need to thrive as international trade continues to grow.

“The latest expansion covers growing markets like Colombia, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam, which are increasingly important to global trade,” said Nick Basford, vice president of international marketing at UPS. “Colombia has become a key market for U.S. exporters due to the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries. Saudi Arabia is a large economy with a growing middle class. And Vietnam is emerging as a manufacturing powerhouse in the Asia Pacific region.”

The service, now available to 88 countries and territories, is part of the broader UPS Express portfolio, which offers three guaranteed time-of-day delivery options that include customs clearance.

UPS Worldwide Express service is particularly beneficial to those with urgent international shipments, such as companies in the fast-paced high-tech, retail and industrial manufacturing industries. Along with other UPS offerings, these services support the rise of global ecommerce.

World Trade Organization economists predict trade growth of nearly four percent this year. UPS Worldwide Express service helps facilitate this growth in international trade by giving customers more options for urgent deliveries. With this latest expansion, the coverage area for UPS Worldwide Express service totals 88 countries, which comprise 94 percent of the global gross domestic product.
