Ashbaugh, currently Chief Commercial Officer, brings over 16 years of experience with DHL to his new role. He will operate from the company’s Americas headquarters in Weston, Florida, and report directly to DHL eCommerce CEO Pablo Ciano, also joining the eCommerce Global Management Board.
Ashbaugh’s career spans both operational and commercial leadership roles, with a decade spent managing domestic and international logistics networks before driving commercial strategy as CCO. His cross-functional expertise has been credited with strengthening DHL’s position in the fast-moving e-commerce sector.
“I’m very pleased to have Scott at the helm of our Americas operations,” said Ciano. “He’s been a key driver of our success, and I’m confident he will lead the region’s continued growth while advancing our mission to offer reliable, affordable, and sustainable service.”
Spratt, whose leadership helped shape DHL eCommerce Americas, will remain with the company through the end of 2025 to ensure a smooth transition. Ciano praised his dedication and legacy, calling his contributions “instrumental to the business’s success.”
Ashbaugh expressed enthusiasm for the road ahead: “It’s a privilege to lead this incredible team into the next phase of our growth. Together, we’ll keep evolving and seizing new opportunities in a dynamic market.”
