Roadrunner LTL Refocuses Service Levels
Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. has implemented significant changes within its less-than-truckload freight network.
Roadrunner LTL has refocused its network standards to further enhance the consistency of its service. These refined service levels provide customers with better visibility to delivery dates, enabling them to work with Roadrunner to more effectively plan their supply-chain while economically managing their transportation costs. Included in these enhancements is the introduction of an optional premium service with guaranteed delivery on a scheduled day in select major-metro markets.
In the markets of Dallas and Houston, Texas, the company recently moved into newly constructed facilities that expand capacity for its growing customer base. In Memphis, Tennessee, the company will now operate its own facility to add immediate and substantial capacity, while also improving efficiency and service levels by providing direct service to customers in this market.
“We are excited to announce refocused service levels with higher levels of consistency,” said Grant Crawford President of Roadrunner LTL. “Our strategy is to increase our investment and presence in key locations across the United States, while providing a consistent, reliable service and economical value to our growing customer base.”
“Our investments into new and expanded direct facilities will assist us in fueling growth,” added Crawford. “Dallas and Houston are important markets for us and we look forward to continuing to be the preferred economy provider for many leading companies in these areas. In Memphis, we are equally excited about our new facility and entering this key market as a direct service provider within the North American supply chain.”
