Port Logistics Group Opens New Corporate HQ in Los Angeles

Omnichannel logistics services Port Logistics Group (PLG) has opened its new corporate headquarters in Los Angeles.

The company’s new headquarters is co-located with its City of Industry, California, distribution campus, and will house corporate staff functions including finance, human resources and marketing and also serve as the regional headquarters for its West Coast operating management.

The gateway facility also houses nearly 2.5 million square feet of dedicated and multi-client facilities shipping to retailers, wholesale distributors and direct to consumers.

“While we’ve experienced great growth in all of our gateways, we have expanded exponentially in Southern California,” said PLG CEO Bob Stull.

Port Logistics Group provides retail distribution services such as drayage, transloading, and cross-docking to manufacturers and retailers, including inventory management, warehousing, case and item picking, specialized packing, garment-on-hanger (GOH), and value-added solutions.

The company also operates and distribution facilities in Rancho Dominguez, California. This expansion brings its total capacity to more than 1.5 million square feet in the Los Angeles basin.

PLG will maintain an office in Houston and continue to operate nationwide information technology support from its Houston and Austin data centers. Port Logistics Group’s national sales office remains in Clifton, New Jersey, as well as 5.5 million square feet of warehouse space strategically located at the ports of Seattle/Tacoma, New York/New Jersey, and Savannah.
