Pelican BioThermal, a global leader providing the largest range of innovative temperature-controlled packaging solutions serving the life sciences industry, has announced the opening of its new Asia headquarters in Singapore.

Announcement of the new operational facility in Singapore signals a significant development in Pelican BioThermal’s expanding presence and support network in Asia.

The new facility will act as the headquarters for Pelican BioThermal Asia’s operation. The location will be the central base for the company’s Asia sales office, Crēdo on Demand rental fleet depot, and the regional distribution hub for the company’s Crēdo reusable and Chronos single use ranges of temperature controlled shippers.

The global cold chain industry currently stands at $10 billion and is predicted to increase further.

The Pelican BioThermal Asia headquarters is also the location for the company’s Asia service center, providing capabilities to refurbish and repair the Crēdo reusable line of shippers.

Alongside providing a Crēdo ondemand designated depot and product inventory, the new office will be collocated with Pelican BioThermal’s distributor for Singapore, Enviropac.

The latest development follows the company’s recent announcement of its partnership with Zuellig Pharma in Asia and further enhances the extensive range of products and services offered by Pelican BioThermal in the region.

This new Singapore center is the latest advancement in the ongoing global expansion program by Pelican BioThermal who, in the past 12 months, has opened successful service centers for Asia, the UK, and the U.S. east coast. Asia is an area of pronounced growth for Pelican BioThermal.
