FedEx described the deal as another significant step in its broader transformation, supporting a strategy to simplify its portfolio, sharpen its focus, and direct resources toward areas where it believes it is best positioned to create long-term value.

Raj Subramaniam, president and chief executive officer of FedEx, said the completion reflects continued progress in executing the company’s strategy with rigor and discipline. He said FedEx is building a more focused company centered on differentiated capabilities that make its network essential to global commerce, while strengthening its core transportation network and expanding its reach across high-value verticals to create value for customers and stockholders.

Subramaniam also expressed appreciation to FedEx Supply Chain team members for their contributions to the company and its customers over the years, wished them success as they begin a new chapter with CEVA Logistics, and said FedEx looks forward to continuing its relationship with CMA CGM.

The completion follows the announcement of the transaction on July 1, 2026.

FedEx Corp., listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker FDX, provides transportation, ecommerce, and business services to customers and businesses worldwide. The company reported annual revenue of $86 billion and employs more than 450,000 people. FedEx has set a goal of achieving carbon-neutral operations by 2040.

The company noted that certain statements regarding its ongoing transformation are forward-looking and subject to risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from historical experience or from future results expressed or implied. Those factors include global market economic conditions, uncertainty and additional volatility in the global trade environment, and the company’s ability to implement its business strategies and global transformation program and network optimization initiatives, including Network 2.0 and Tricolor, respond effectively to changes in market dynamics, and achieve the anticipated benefits of those actions. FedEx said forward-looking statements speak only as of the date they are made and that it does not undertake or assume any obligation to update or revise them, whether as a result of new information, future events, or otherwise.
