The service started on December in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and has an expected rotation of 19 days.
Transshipment connections with other CMA CGM Group services offered in Malta are expected to provide full export solutions for Ecuadorian producers towards all global consumer markets around the world, such as the Mediterranean Sea, North Africa, and the Middle East.
“By launching this new line, CMA CGM positions itself as a major player on the Ecuadorian reefer market and offers its clients the best service to the Mediterranean,” said Xavier Eiglier, CMA CGM Caribbean and Latin America Lines vice president. “The company also provides multiple export opportunities to numerous markets for North and South American clients, thanks to calls at Kingston and Malta Group’s hubs.”
