NEW LCL IMPORT SERVICE WILL SAIL FROM PORT OF GENOA
The LCL service will sail from the port of Genoa with cargoes ranging from industrial goods, aircraft/aerospace components, auto parts, food, wine and chemicals.
“Alternative LCL and FCL transportation solutions address the need for supply chain flexibility that helps ensure freight arrives as scheduled,” says Greg Howard, CEO of CaroTrans. “We’re pleased to add a third direct import service from Milan,” he adds, “the Charleston service complements our existing services to Chicago and New York/New Jersey.”
With the addition of the Milan-Charleston service, CaroTrans Import Service Network now consists of 140 direct import services between the U.S. and global locations. CaroTrans recently announced new Le Havre-Charleston, Shanghai-Seattle and Japan-Miami services.
