C.H. Robinson Expands Warehouse Space in Atlanta

C.H. Robinson, a global logistics provider, has opened a new warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia, to meet increasing customer demands. The new space will increase the company’s usable warehouse space by more than 40 percent.

The new warehouse will serve as a retail consolidation center supporting C.H. Robinson’s freight consolidation program, which is a leader in the industry. Through the use of facilities like the one in Atlanta, the company optimizes shipments to best fit the unique needs of its wide array of customers. The program helps shippers improve service and optimize their freight through predictable processes and full shipment visibility and reporting.

This year also marks 50 years of C.H. Robinson’s presence in Atlanta, and the new warehouse is a testament to C.H. Robinson’s continued commitment to and investment in the marketplace.

“We are very excited about the new warehouse space and the ability it gives us to continue meeting our customers’ diverse needs here in Atlanta and around the globe, through 2016 and beyond,” said Al Zwach, C.H. Robinson’s director of North American Surface Transportation.
