As the logistics industry evolves, the presence of women continues to grow, with WCAworld highlighting significant progress during its latest Women’s Networking Event at the 2025 WCA Worldwide Conference in Dubai. Now in its second year, the event saw overwhelming demand, reflecting both a rising number of women in the sector and a strong desire for professional networking opportunities.

Women’s participation at WCAworld conferences has nearly doubled over the past five years, reaching 30% of attendees in 2025 a promising shift toward greater industry representation. Notably, the Asia-Pacific region leads in gender diversity, boasting the highest number of female members and women-owned logistics firms. Across the WCAworld network, nearly 2,500 member companies are now women-owned, with female participation more than doubling in the past decade.

While progress is evident, women remain underrepresented in senior leadership roles. To address this gap, WCAworld is strengthening its commitment to fostering inclusivity, expanding initiatives that support career growth, and championing gender diversity across the logistics industry.

This momentum signals a new era where women are not only entering logistics in greater numbers but also making strides toward leadership and influence in the sector.
