Boyden World Launches East Africa Operations

New York-headquartered global executive search firm Boyden World has opened a new office in Nairobi, Kenya, further expanding its presence to a third region in Africa.

The new office will provide services for “high growth sectors such as financial services, real estate, life sciences & healthcare, technology and industrial,” said Magdy El Zein, Managing Partner for Boyden Middle East and North Africa.

“There is an abundance of opportunities for leading professionals in East Africa” said El Zein. “However, there are some challenges for businesses to identify those individuals with the right credentials, education, knowledge and experience.”

Purchase, New York-headquartered Boyden has operated in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region since 1999.

The new Nairobi office will concentrate on the company’s operations in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Ethiopia. Boyden’s Sub-Saharan African operations continue to be supported by the firm’s regional office in Johannesburg, South Africa.

“The increasing investment in the region by global organizations has created an exciting landscape, and there is strong demand for world-class professionals to repatriate or transfer to East Africa,” said Trina Gordon, Boyden World president and CEO.

Boyden currently offers global executive search services through a network of more than 70 offices in over 40 countries.
