  • RAILPort 4.0 includes a redesigned dashboard which allows users to more quickly navigate to reports most often used.
  • RailPort allows users to customize and distribute reports of their own design and requirements.
  • A collaborative tool allows colleagues to use each other's report criteria to build their own customized reports.

Bourque Logistics, a developer of software to automate rail shipment processes, announced the introduction of the latest version of RAILPort last week.

RAILPort 4.0 includes a redesigned dashboard which allows users to more quickly navigate to reports most often used.  The dashboard also allows easy navigation through the various Bourque Logistics’ modules including: RAILTRAC, YardMaster, eBILL, RAILAcct, RateServer, TRANSPay and others. Improved notification make it easier to identify which elements require attention.

RailPort allows users to customize and distribute reports of their own design and requirements. The RAILPort report writer offers pre-written templates for each application providing the foundation for building customized reports.

This latest version also includes a report designer and enhanced automatic email scheduling capabilities.  Executive reports can be customized from time-saving templates then saved to a PDF, Excel, HTML, or CSV file for distribution.  Upgraded automatic email report scheduling provides users the ability to view schedules corresponding with their current report and allows for quick and easy schedule editing.

RAILPort’s Live Link functionality provides customers and colleagues with the ability to refer back to that same link with up-to-date reporting information each time the link is clicked.  The sharing feature is a collaborative tool allowing colleagues to use each other’s report criteria to build their own customized reports.  The alert function allows a user to set email alerts based upon report criteria.  The map function integrates with Bing Maps to show where railcars are located geographically.

Headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, Bourque Logistics provides a suite of modules to address multi-mode shipment operations for loading and shipping, bill of lading submission, tracking and tracing, freight rating and payment, fleet accounting, supply chain management and custom reporting. The company’s EDI data service connects shippers with their suppliers, customers, and carriers.
