Members of the “Seamless Inspections” initiative, developed by Dubai Customs, expressed their immense satisfaction with the positive and effective impact of the groundbreaking initiative in enhancing supply chain management efficiency, accelerating logistics operations, improving operational efficiency, and reducing customs inspection time. They emphasized that Dubai Customs’ unique and globally leading customs services greatly contribute to enhancing companies’ performance indicators, boosting customer satisfaction, and attracting new foreign investments in the commercial, logistics, and related industries.
This sentiment was expressed during a visit by H.E. Dr. Abdulla Busenad, Director General of Dubai Customs, and his accompanying delegation to Aramex’s warehouse. The visit marked the official launch of the service and provided an on-ground review of the customs inspection process at the company’s premises. The Seamless Inspections initiative, the first of its kind globally, enables goods inspection directly at company warehouses, eliminating the need for traditional inspection points at customs centers. This innovation allows traders to meet global demand with greater agility and strengthens supply chain resilience, positioning Dubai at the forefront of global trade hubs. The initiative exemplifies advanced transformations in customs services that enhance business operations and maximize returns on trade activities.
The program offers two tailored options to meet corporate needs:
- Full-site inspection, where customs officers are permanently stationed at company premises, providing consistent support for high-volume operations requiring regular field inspections.
- On-demand inspection, which dispatches officers to company sites as needed, offering flexibility for businesses with variable inspection requirements.
