A GE-Port of Los Angeles partnership launched a pilot at APM Terminals with Maersk Line and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). Home Depot is also participating in the project.

The project with GE Transportation, announced last November, aims to develop a digital solution to flow cargo more efficiently through the largest container port in the United States. The partners have built a platform that digitizes maritime shipping data and makes that available to shippers and supply chain operators. Initial performance results are expected in July.
