Preferred Freezer Services (PFS), an operator of temperature-controlled warehouses, has announced the opening of its newest facility, Big Bear Los Angeles.

Big Bear satisfies the demand for modern and efficient cold storage warehousing services in the competitive Los Angeles market. The new facility marks the company’s seventh in the Los Angeles area and thirty-eighth in the United States.

“The entire Los Angeles market area has been starved for a temperature-controlled warehouse which has the space to consolidate all their goods under one roof,” said Mike Townsend, director of sales and operations for the western region. “Big Bear delivers just that, with nearly 95,000 frozen pallet spaces in a beautiful new facility. Big Bear is located near Interstate 5 and just minutes from downtown Los Angeles. The state-of-the-art facility, which is BRC Certified, covers an entire city block and adds to the company’s expanding footprint. The building features 32 docks doors all with levelers and seals. Big Bear is operating with a 24-hour operation, 6 days a week.
