With the go-live of Green Worldwide Shipping, Riege Software has reached another milestone in its expansion into the US market. Green Worldwide committed to Scope in August 2017 and after only five months of implementation planning, Green Worldwide went live on February 1, 2018, with 111 users, in 10 offices and nine cities across the United States.

As one of the fastest growing freight forwarders in the United States, Green Worldwide is driven by innovative freight-forward thinking, technology investment, and providing new value added services to their customers. With plans of expanding into Canada in 2018, the company’s growth plans over the next five years are to double in employees and shipments as they have been maintaining a 30 percent year-over-year growth so far.

“Our decision to select Scope by Riege for our automation goals was fairly simple,” said Thomas Jorgensen, CEO and President of Green Worldwide Shipping. “We wanted to translate our high standards of supply chain handling into a technology that reduced data entry for our freight experts, to give them more time doing what they do best – servicing the client and I believe we truly accomplished our vision.” Green Worldwide uses Scope modules and enhancements, such as Air Freight, Sea Freight, Truck, OMS, Connect, as well as the integration with Quickbooks and NetChb for customs brokerage.

“Partnering with a forward-thinking innovator like Green Worldwide Shipping,” said Mark Ketcham, a Riege Software vice president, “we knew we were taking on responsibility for all of their freight forwarding technology needs and this would require a great deal of effort, including establishing new interfaces, expanding our customs service offering with our new partner NetCHB, providing rate management, CRM, Warehouse, mobile applications, with much more to come.”

Thus far, the tool has processed over 3,000 shipments in Scope, over 600 quotations, over 2,700 invoices, 18,600 partners, over 51 customers in the web portal Connect, and is rapidly growing.
